Natalia de Andrade - "Soprano Lirico Dramatico" - Unfortunately, only after going to print with THE MUSE SURMOUNTED were we able to obtain copies of the sleeves of two privately-issued LP records of LaNatalia, from which the picture below is taken. The first, from which the excerpt from Massenet's Manon inlcuded in THE MUSE SURMOUNTED was taken, contains seven arias from Manon and five Verdi arias; the piano accompaniment was played by Grazi Barbosa. The second LP contains eight songs by Portuguese composers as well as arias by verdi, Puccini, Mascagni and Massenet. The piano accompaniment was played by Shegundo Galarza. According to information printed on the sleeves, there are at least four other LP's by this artist, three of them on the Columbia label, issued in Madrid. Owners of copies of any of these are urged to contact us.
